Participants will get familiar with relevant equipment and techniques used during patient workups, procedural indications, and post-operative care, as well as basic hands-on skills.

This course is intended for practicing veterinarians looking to gain knowledge in interventional radiology procedures.

The course will focus on cardiovascular techniques and will include training on:

• PV stenting
• PS balloon dilatation
• Trans venous
• Trans atrial PDA closure

Throughout this course you will practice using and deploying devices in both a dry lab and wet lab setting.

The course will be taught by Dr. Brain Maran, DVM, DACVIM Founder & Cardiologist at Olympic Veterinary Cardiology, LLC.
