Final Interventional Radiology Workshop of 2023 Reaches Full Capacity

This two-day course will combine focused, laboratory-based instruction on Respiratory & Urinary techniques in a wet lab setting. The course will be hosted by the University of California San Diego (UCSD) and taught by Dr. Bill Culp VMD, DACVS, Professor at UC Davis Department of Surgical and Radiological Sciences.

This course is intended for practicing veterinarians looking to gain knowledge in interventional radiology procedures. Participants will get familiar with relevant equipment and techniques used during stenting procedures, patient workups, procedural indications, post-operative care, as well as basic hands-on skills.

 

On day one we’ll look at respiratory interventions including:

Tracheal stenting
Bronchial stenting
Nasopharyngeal stenting

 

On day two we’ll cover urinary interventions including:

Urethral stenting
Ureteral stenting: Surgical & Percutaneous
Renal Access/Nephrostomy
