Infiniti is thrilled to announce the return this fall of its workshop focused on Cardiology Interventions for Common Congenital Heart Diseases. The workshop, scheduled for September 16-17, 2023, will be held at the University of Miami and will offer participants a unique opportunity to expand your clinical abilities and specialized skills during this full two-day of advanced interventional procedures designed to provide more in-depth theory and hands-on experience.

Leading the course is the esteemed Dr. Kursten Pierce DVM, DACVIM, Assistant Professor of Cardiology at NC State. With Dr. Pierce at the helm, participants will be guided through an immersive learning journey that will empower them to handle complex cases with confidence.

Day 1 of the course will be dedicated to Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA) Occlusion Techniques focusing on ACDO, coil embolization, and transvenous approaches for Patent Ductus Arteriosus. In addition, the course will touch on the utilization of other devices designed to tackle abnormal PDA morphologies.

Day 2 of the course will focus on Interventional Therapies for Pulmonary Valve Stenosis (PS), delving into the intricacies of balloon valvuloplasty, and covering both conventional and cutting-edge techniques. Additionally, the day will shed light on transpulmonary stent implantation, exploring indications, stent selection, positioning, procedural steps, and guidance.
