This two-day course will focus on laboratory-based instruction in a wet lab setting.

Participants will get familiar with relevant equipment and techniques used during patient workups, procedural indications, and post-operative care, as well as basic hands-on skills.

This course is intended for practicing veterinarians looking to become proficient in interventional radiology procedures.

Day 1
Non-vascular IR techniques
• Tracheal stenting
• Urethral stenting
• Ureteral stenting

Day 2
Advanced vascular IR techniques
• Selective arterial access
• Intra-arterial access
• Coil embolization of IHPSS

The course will be taught by Dr. Erinne Branter, BVSC, DACVIM, Head of Internal Medicine & IR/IE at WAVES, BC Canada.
