Participants will get familiar with relevant equipment and techniques used during patient workups, procedural indications, and post-operative care, as well as basic hands-on skills.

The course will focus on non-vascular techniques and include training on:

Tracheal stenting
Urethral stenting
Ureteric stenting

There will be a lecture until mid-morning followed by hands-on cadaver lab. The remainder of the day will be spent in the OR learning techniques that cannot be acquired from a textbook.

The course will be taught by Dr. Erinne Branter, BVSC, DACVIM, Head of Internal Medicine & IR/IE at WAVES, BC Canada.

This course is intended for practicing veterinarians looking to gain knowledge in interventional radiology procedures.
