Registration is now open for Infiniti’s newest Interventional radiology workshop March 14th – 15th, 2022.

This two-day course will combine laboratory-based instruction with case presentations in vascular and non-vascular image guided procedures. The course will be hosted by Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain and taught by Dr. Bill Culp VMD, DACVS, Professor, Department of Surgical and Radiological Sciences, UC Davis.

This course is intended for practicing veterinarians looking to gain knowledge in interventional radiology procedures. And is intended to familiarize participants with relevant equipment and teach them patient workups, procedural indications, post-operative care, as well as basic hands-on skills.

On day one we’ll look at non-vascular Interventional Radiology techniques including tracheal stent placement, urethral stent placement, ureteral stent placement and nephrostomy tube placement

For day two we’ll cover vascular interventional radiology techniques, vascular access, selective visceral arteriography, intra-arterial embolization and the coil embolization of intra hepatic portosystemic shunts.
