This two-day course will focus on laboratory-based instruction in a wet lab setting.

Participants will get familiar with relevant equipment and techniques used during patient workups, procedural indications, and post-operative care, as well as basic hands-on skills.

This course is intended for practicing veterinarians looking to become proficient in interventional respiratory and urinary procedures.

Day one will focus on respiratory interventions and include training on:
Tracheal stenting
Bronchial stenting
Nasopharyngeal stenting

Day two will focus on urinary interventions and include training on:
Urethral stenting
Ureteral stenting: surgical & percutaneous
Renal access/nephrostomy

The course will be taught by Dr. Bill Culp, VMD, DACVS, Professor, Department of Surgical and Radiological Sciences, UC Davis.
