This two-day course will focus on laboratory-based instruction in a wet lab setting.

Participants will get familiar with relevant equipment and techniques used during patient workups, procedural indications, and post-operative care, as well as basic hands-on skills.

This course is intended for practicing veterinarians looking to become proficient in interventional radiology procedures.

Day one will focus on Non-vascular IR techniques and include training on:
Tracheal stenting
Urethral stenting
Ureteral stenting

Day two will focus on Advanced vascular IR techniques and include training on:
Selective arterial access
Intra-arterial access
Coil embolisation of IHPSS

The course will be taught by Dr. Simon Tappin MA VetMB CertSAM DipECVIM-CA FRCVS, Clinical Director, DWR, UK.
