Expand your clinical abilities and specialized skills during this upcoming Infiniti Medical course designed to provide you with in-depth theory and hands-on experience.
This intensive seminar will combine focused, laboratory-based instruction with case presentations in advanced vascular and non-vascular image-guided procedures.
Participants will become familiar with relevant equipment and techniques used during patient workups, procedural indications, and post-operative care, as well as basic hands-on skills.
Day one will focus on non-vascular IR techniques and include training on:
Tracheal stenting
Urethral stenting
Ureteral stenting
Day two will focus on advanced vascular IR techniques and include training on:
Selective arterial access
Intra-arterial access
Coil embolization of IHPSS
This course is intended for practicing veterinarians looking to gain knowledge in interventional radiology procedures.
The course will be taught by Dr. Erinne Branter, BVSC, DACVIM, Head of Internal Medicine & IR/IE at WAVES, BC Canada.
