This course is intended for veterinarians with a working knowledge of basic cardiac interventions looking to gain knowledge in peripheral interventions or advanced cardiac interventions. And is intended to familiarize participants with relevant equipment and teach them patient workups, procedural indications, post-operative care, as well as basic hands-on skills.

Our curriculum for day one will focus on common minimally invasive respiratory interventions and will cover the below:

Tracheal stenting for tracheal collapse

Bronchial stenting for bronchial collapse

On day two we’ll cover common congenital heart diseases for more in-depth theory and hands-on experience in:

Pulmonic stenosis -with both balloon dilatation & trans-pulmonic stent angioplasty techniques

Patent ductus arteriosus – with a focus on both ACDO and transvenous approaches & extrinsic compression

The course will take place in Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok and will be taught by Dr. Brian Maran DVM, Diplomate ACVIM (Cardiology). 

Additionally, Infiniti will sponsor an Interventional Radiology Summit, combining focused, laboratory-based

instruction with case presentations in vascular and nonvascular image guided procedures.

Our curriculum for day one will focus on Non-vascular IR techniques, focusing on

Patient Work-Up, Procedural Indications, Equipment

Checklists and Post-Operative Treatment Protocols during Tracheal, Urethral and Ureteral Stenting and Nephrostomy procedures. 

On day two we’ll cover Advanced Vascular IR Techniques for more in-depth theory and hands-on experience in:

Selective arterial access

Intra-arterial embolization

Coil embolization of IHPSS

The course will also be held at Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok and will be

taught by Dr. Dr. Erinne Branter BVSc, DVM, DAVCIM.
